On Friday, July 16th, join us for a presentation by Tim Hawks, Leading a Thriving Church Community.
Our mission is to elevate the role of leadership in the lives of the citizens of Central Texas; to focus on the vitality and necessity of regional leadership capital; and to serve others through the process of encouraging individuals to grow, prosper and make a significant difference through the practice of leadership skills.
Tim Hawks serves as Lead Pastor of Hill Country Bible Church Northwest in Austin, TX. Before coming to Hill Country in 1989, Tim planted and pastored a church in Ruston, LA. His passion for church planting grew as he saw the need for more spiritually vibrant, missionally-minded churches in the Austin area. Since 1996, Hill Country Bible Church has planted 19 churches throughout Greater Austin and has a goal to plant 25 churches within the next five years.
Tim is dedicated to partnering with like-minded churches to saturate the city with the gospel of Jesus Christ. By meeting monthly with area pastors and building relationships with other organizations that have a heart for the people of Austin, Tim has been instrumental in shaping a unified strategy for reaching the city. Hill Country Bible Church NW is also committed to the spread of the gospel throughout the world, and has supported church planting in East Asia, Central Asia and Mexico.
Tim serves within a thriving church community of 5,000 people who own the vision of reaching every man, woman, and child in Greater Austin with the life-changing reality of Jesus Christ. He is an active participant in the Infinity Alliance, an interdependent team of churches throughout the Unites States that are committed to the re-evangelization of the US.
Again in 2010, an individual or an organization may sponsor a table of eight for $200. The sponsors table will be identified and the sponsor recognized. The sponsor may designate up to a maximum of eight who will attend, or elect not to specify individuals by name. In the latter case, the table will be filled by attendees who have registered individually.
The breakfast will be held from 7:30 until 9:00 a.m. on Friday, July 16th, at the Austin Club. The Austin Club is located on the north side of 9th Street between Congress and Brazos. The cost is $20.00 per person. Reservations are required. To register go to www.theaustinleadershipforum.com. Registration closes on Wednesday, July 14th. Please dont delay.
