On Friday, May 15th, join us for a presentation by Dr. Alfred Knight, CEO of Scott & White Hospitals, on the topic: The Reluctant Leader.

Alfred B. Knight, M.D., has been president and chief executive officer of Scott & White in Temple since 2000. Under his leadership, the healthcare organization has undertaken an aggressive growth strategy. With more than 750 physicians and scientists and nearly 9,000 staff, Scott & White delivers patient care at more than 50 clinics and nine hospitals and hospital partners throughout Central Texas.
Dr. Knight has held many leadership positions at Scott & White since his appointment to the institution in 1986. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a professor at the Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine. He currently serves as chairman of the VHA Texas Board of Directors and is involved in a variety of local and national organizations.
Dr. Knight holds a bachelors degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an M.D. from Case Western Reserve University.
