"Non-Profit Sustainability in a Down Economy" |
On Friday, September 18th, join us for a "Non-Profit Sustainability in a Down Economy" panel
Our mission is to elevate the role of leadership in the lives of the citizens of Central Texas; to focus on the vitality and necessity of regional leadership capital; and to serve others through the process of encouraging individuals to grow, prosper and make a significant difference through the practice of leadership skills.
A couple of years ago, the Austin Leadership Forum had a Social Profit panel with representatives from the Lance Armstrong Foundation, Meals on Wheels and More, United Way, and Community Action Network. The program was very well received, and we are planning another panel for this year, titled: Non-Profit Sustainability in a Down Economy. This panel will focus on how leaders manage and lead a non-profit through an economy that is negatively impacting their fundraising and consequently their operating budget, yet also increasing the demand and need for their services.
The breakfast will be held from 7:30 until 9:00 a.m. on Friday, September 18th, at the Austin Club. The Austin Club is located on the north side of 9th Street between Congress and Brazos. The cost is $20.00 per person. Reservations are required. To register go to www.theaustinleadershipforum.com. Registration closes on Wednesday, September 16th. Please dont delay.
